  8. Start Accepting Payments
    • Once everything is set up, open the Stripe Terminal app on your mobile device.
    • Log in with your Stripe account credentials.
    • You can now start accepting payments using the Stripe card reader. Enter the amount, swipe or insert the customer's card, and follow the prompts on the screen.

Important Note:

Stripe may impose a waiting period before you can use the Terminal feature. This waiting period is typically short, and once approved, you should be able to start using Stripe Terminal shortly thereafter. However, the exact duration may vary based on your location and other factors.

Additional Tips:

  • Ensure your smartphone or tablet has a stable internet connection when using Stripe Terminal to process payments.
  • Familiarize yourself with Stripe’s fee structure and ensure you understand any transaction fees associated with card payments.

By following these steps, you should be well-equipped to set up Stripe Terminal for accepting credit card payments at your Open Studios event.

Good luck with your sales!
